Sunday night I took my boys to see "High School Musical 3 - Senior Year." If I get enough requests, I will write my own personal review of this groundbreaking film. Anyway, they are getting older and more independent, and I ended up watching most of the movie alone with a giant tub of popcorn. Garrett sat with a friend and Drew decided to sit in the front row. I sat a couple of rows behind him. Before the movie started he asked me to come sit with him, so I did. We had a nice talk, just the two of us. He told me stories about school and it was very nice and entertaining. Then, all of a sudden he turned to me.
"Mom, could you go sit back there again? I'm tired of you."
"What?!"
"Yeah, I'm tired of you."
Feeling a strange mixture of shock, hurt, and an urge to laugh, I said, "Okay, fine, then," and moved back to my seat with my tub of popcorn and my pink lemonade. By the end of the movie, though, we were all sitting together in the front row and having a good time.

Wow, LOL, I just laughed quite heartily after reading the "go sit back there, I'm tired of you" comment that Drew made.
And "groundbreaking film"? Really? Or was that sarcasm? I have no idea about any of these High School Musical movies.
For the record, I was being sarcastic.
Ha-ha, I'm slow sometimes. =p
