Coldplay Sick Kid Saturday

OK, I'm over my angry rant from yesterday. It's Saturday, I have some coffee and good music and I am relaxed. However, Grace is now sick again. She spent ALL night tossing, thrashing, crying, moaning, kicking and hitting. It was not a good night for sleep. She has had a bit of a cold, and a cough, and she has also been wheezing. I did not wake up after all that until 11:30, later than I have slept in many years. I let her sleep until she came downstairs crying at 12:30. She does not have a fever, but is pale and doesn't look well. She got herself a towel in case she throws up. This child is unbelievable. She takes care of all her own personal hygiene. Blows her nose and everything. I'm not even sure that Drew can do that. So here she lies on the couch, watching Spongebob with her little towel.

The problem is we have a birthday party for my nephew Ty today. He just turned four, and he's cuter than hell. We have all been looking forward to the party, and to seeing my mom and grandma and aunt and everyone. It looks like we won't be going after all.

On the plus side, I can sit around writing and watching "The Office" on DVD and listening to music and I never even have to get dressed.

Switching gears: I really really like Coldplay. I think they are very talented and have some of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Even so, I admit that some of their songs bore me to tears. "Cemeteries of London" is seriously my favorite song this week, I just can't stop listening to it. Some guy made a really creepy and awesome video and put it on youtube. So here you go, have a great weekend everyone.
