My F*&^%ing Week

*Bad day early in the week for Drew. Things broken. Bite on my arm that is still bruised. Lots of tears. Items thrown all over the place.

*A long list of stories to work on, but no time. Constant waves of ads and stories and press releases to proof.

*Looong meeting at the city council. Story so long they could hardly find space in the paper for it.

*Worked on a story about divorce and custody battles.

*My first car accident. A high school kid rammed right into me while I was just driving along minding my own business. Grace was with me, and she was scared. Nobody was hurt. It's possible he ran the stop sign. His car is totaled. My van might be totaled, as it will probably cost more to fix it than the van is worth. As much as I would like a new van, this is all a pain in the ass, and is going to cost some money.

*Planning our family vacation to Duluth next week. How are we going to get there now? Going to have to rent a van, I guess.

*Walked to the movie theater last night with Todd and the kids. Sat there eating popcorn and proof-reading the ads on the screen as they came up.

*Text from the boss today wondering if we should have something in the paper about the big thing going on in my town today that I knew nothing about. Can't get a hold of him now. Don't feel like working, but I probably should grab my camera and go.

*One more cup of coffee first...
