Holding my grandma's frail, bony hand, touching her, knowing her body is filled with a poisonous cancer that is slowly draining the life from her.
Screwing up in an article enough to piss someone off.
Wondering if I somehow get off on putting important things off until the last possible second...
Rewarding myself for meeting the deadline (sort of) by watching an awesome movie.
That somewhat desperate need to make those connections, to take advantage of every spare second to say those things, to not let it pass you by, to meet someone's eyes.
Waiting for the City Administrator to arrive for a photo op...playing with my camera in my van.

That incredible ache you feel when someone is not there.
