High School Meme

1. Did you date someone from your school senior year? Yes

2. Did you marry someone from your high school? Not my first one, but my second high school

3. Did you carpool to school? No. I rode the bus until I got a car, then drove myself. I parked a block away because it cost money to park in the school parking lot.

4. What kind of car did you drive? 1982 Ford EXP. Hatchback, no back seat. Seriously. My bf and friends wrote in the dust all over it and it never washed away.

5. What kind of car do you have now? Soccer mom minivan

6. It's Friday night - where were you (in high school)? With friends or watching my boyfriend's band play somewhere. (The Lizard Kings rock!)

7. It is Friday night - where are you (now)? Home with my kids, watching a movie maybe.

8. What kind of job did you have in high school? Subway, then a Hallmark card shop

9. What kind of job do you do now? Journalist and Special Ed. paraprofessional

13. Were you a nerd? I don't know what I was.

14. Did you get suspended or expelled? Heck no. I got detention once for skipping my English class too many times. The only trouble I ever got in.

21. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Sigh. I don't know. Certainly to be with my friends again. But other than them, no way in hell.

22. Did you have fun at Prom? I didn't go to prom my junior year, but then my senior year I moved to this small town I live in now and I went to prom.

23. Do you still talk to your prom date? Yes, he's my husband!

25. What did you want to be when you grew up? A writer.
