The other day my grandma gave me my grandpa's digital camera because nobody else in the family wanted it. I gave it to the boys, because they love to take pictures. Garrett discovered that there were still several pictures on the memory card. In fact, there were 199 pictures that spanned a couple of years. I found pictures of Grace when she was a baby and on her first birthday. I had forgotten how cute and cuddly she was. She has chubby cheeks and I just want to pick her up and hug her! Of course, she is still cute and I can pick her up and hug her anytime, but I miss that little baby girl. If I close my eyes I can still see her sleeping in my arms and remember how she smelled.
Another great thing about the pictures is that I lost hundreds of pictures when my hard drive crashed, all during this time frame. It's kind of crazy how that worked out.
Speaking of my grandpa, today I finally deleted his email address off my contacts list. He died almost a year ago.
