Drew

The other day Drew came up to me with an armload of books.

"Mom, look at all these Dr. Seuss books!" he said to me.

"Wow. That's a lot of books," I replied.

"Do you dare me to read all of them?" he said with a grin on his face.

I looked him in the eye. "Yes. I double dog dare you."

I should have double dog dared him to clean his room. I wish he would go after healthy fruits and vegetables the way he attacked those books. He never fails to amaze me and make me laugh.
