1. I did not get the job for the newspaper column.
2. We are getting about $2,000 less of a tax refund than last year.
3. I can't make a vegan brownie that doesn't taste like ass.
4. Even though they taste like ass, I keep eating them.
5. It seems this frigid arctic winter will never end.
6. I still have an article to write tonight.
Dylan and a nice cup of Java Mate are soothing the pain. This doesn't hurt either...

I'm sorry you had such a bummer of a day. That sucks you didn't get the column, but at least you gave it a good shot.
And I agree with you on the weather. This incessant frigid cold is beginning to fill me with rage. =p
