I could write a novel about this picture.
But I will give you the condensed version.
We had a birthday party for my grandma a couple of weeks ago. Grace clung to her all evening, sitting in her lap and wanting her to carry her around. Grandma told her she couldn't carry her. The chemo has been making her legs hurt badly, and she was having trouble walking on her own. Grace looked at her innocently and said, "Just be careful on the steps."
Since Grace was born they have had a special bond...I think the hours grandma spent rocking her and singing to her are still somewhere in Grace's memory.
