You have a
smile like the stars
after laughing
Sacred life
Bone deep
Drink this kiss
Live the fever of darkness
Melt away joy
Bleed over fire seeping with secrets
and dance like smoke on the breeze
Out of the mind of a writing mother of three comes this rambling. Sometimes poetry, sometimes stories about my kids, mostly what I need to get out of my head and into words.

Magnetic Poetry (again)
During the days when I had my magnetic poetry set on my refrigerator, I wrote this poem. I just stumbled across it and I thought I would share it. Magnetic poetry is so fun. I would love to do it again. Exercise for my brain. I need to do some mental stretches again, as well as some physical ones. Enjoy. Maybe another song tomorrow, if you're lucky.

I used to have a magnetic poetry set. Unfortunately, it somehow went missing in our move from Sacramento back to Minnesota a few years ago. Oh, well. I'm not much of a poet anyway, even though magnetic poetry was fun.
