Owned by a 5-year-old

The night before we left for vacation, the kids were incredibly hyper and unruly and just would not go to sleep. I finally yelled loudly from my bedroom, "Everybody lay down and go to sleep!!"

Grace's response? "It's lie down, not lay down, poopyhead!"

Honestly. It's just too embarrassing to make up.
