Happier

Sorry about that last post- I was in a bit of a funk...

Not all is misery around here. I find myself actually enjoying certain aspects of the holiday season and life in general.

We put up our tree yesterday and it is beautiful. Maybe because we decorate it all in shades of purple.

The kids lovelovelove playing in the snow. So does Marley. And how cute are little kids when they are bundled up to go outdoors?

And another thing - YAY for Glad Rags! At least in my painful, bloated, grumpy misery, every time I sit down on the toilet, I can look down and say, "Oh, what a pretty little pad!" And Grace, clueless as to their purpose, says, "Here, let me get you another one, mom."

There has to be something to enjoy about Aunt Flo.

Garrett has a band concert tonight - his first one. He plays the saxophone, and I can hardly wait, I am so excited! I am so proud I am absolutely bursting. He is really good at it, and he loves it. Hooray for music in the schools!

Pictures to come. Probably.
