We got up super-early at 6:45 a.m. That's super-early to me. The boys were ready for school in ten minutes flat. They are sitting on the couch, sweatshirts and backpacks on, watching Spongebob. I think they are excited for their first day of school. Even Drew, who swore a few weeks ago that he was never going back.
They still have 20 minutes before their bus comes!
As for me, I am chilling. Eating my vegan overnight oats with almond butter and maple syrup. Content in the knowledge that because it's the first day of school, I won't have to do much more than sit around and drink coffee all morning.
It is cold, dark, dreary, and rainy this morning.
I have no idea what the day will bring, or what the year will be like.
