Snow Day

Oh man, Pandora Radio has been ultra-awesome today. I have been listening to it for hours as I have been writing articles. I have three to get done this week. I am done with two and I am taking a break. I can't take any more budgets, tax levies, street repairs or sewer problems. I am hearing the greatest music ever. You must go check them out and make radio stations based on your favorite artists. You won't be sorry.

I think it sounds like a good night for soup. We are in the middle of a blizzard here, and I am officially okay with that. Only because I can stay home all day and not have to go anywhere. I can stay in my Bob Dylan T-shirt and flannel pants. I am going to make some Gingerbread Flax Muffins. I will probably put them on my food blog later if they turn out okay. And how could they not? They are low fat, damn near healthy, gingerbread, and Isa Chandra Moskowitz's recipe.

I would like to watch a movie...The Nightmare Before Christmas sounds like a great choice. Along with some chai tea, or even some cocoa.

BTW, my first food column will be published January 4. I will accept any kind of kooky, crazy, stupid name that you have to offer. I have already heard "Jade's Kitchen" and "The Jaded Cook." I hope it doesn't come to that.
