I just found out that Kurt Cobain drank a can of Barq's root beer before he shot up some heroin and then killed himself.

I was with April when I bought Nevermind. I was driving my dad's big blue van, and I popped the tape in as we were leaving the Crossroads parking lot, and I heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and my life was changed forever. Nirvana was the greatest thing I had heard for years. Grunge music fit me so well...baggy clothes, plenty of flannel, lots and lots of angst, guys jumping around on stage, and loud guitars. This is one of my all-time favorite Nirvana songs even though it's actually a David Bowie song. When I think of Kurt Cobain, I think of him in this green sweater.
*I do not mean to imply that there is something funny about Kurt Cobain's suicide.

it hit me really hard when curt killed himself - that was a weird time for me and my friend eric had killed himself not too long before - and then this guy who had EVERYTHING does it
