Eighteen years ago today I watched my baby sister Mikel being born. It was the most amazing moment of my life up to that point. She was tiny, and beautiful, and perfect. I held her in my arms and felt the most overwhelming urge to protect her from any harm. I watched her grow up and I hoped that one day I would have a little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. (I never actually expected that I would.)
Now she is all grown up. She has partied way more in her short life than I ever will. She has several piercings; her nose, belly button, tongue, lip, ears...She's rebellious, strong-willed, funny, loyal, beautiful, and a great sister.
She has been planning this day for a long time, and she left school early to get this tattoo. It's gorgeous. And freaking huge. Her mom is going to flip out. Click on the image for a closer look.
We are planning on getting matching sister tattoos soon. You can be sure I will show them off and tell you all about it as soon as it happens.

That's pretty. And I wish I had all those piercings you listed of hers. :( I'm allergic to metal, which is the only thing keeping me from getting all the piercings I want. I had my ears pierced one summer when I was about 12, but my allergy put a quick end to that. This is why I choose to wear a super-sexy Velcro wristwatch to this day.
LOL I love piercings too, but having kids kind of makes that impractical for now. I haven't even worn earrings for years. And I'm allergic too so I have to get the sensitive kind.
