Coming down from the high that I get from live music, I thought to myself, "Gee...I wonder who I can see in concert next?" I turned on my computer and checked my email and lo and behold, bobdylan.com sent me an email about some tour dates Dylan added. I quickly scanned the list of cities and there it was: Minneapolis. November 4. Election night. Northrop Auditorium at the University of Minnesota. My heart went "Weeeeeeeeee!!!!" Seriously, it did.
The cheapest tickets I can get are $66. I remember that the second time I saw Dylan (Rochester, 1994) I paid $25. I don't care. Whatever. We have not officially purchased tickets yet, but we are going to. We have to figure out the logistics, such as babysitter, money, work schedules, etc. Naturally, I will have to vote before I leave town. I will have to miss watching election coverage on TV all evening. I will have to hear about it late that night.
So I am now pumped for my sixth Dylan concert. Happy Day!!!
