I have had this list working in my mind for many months now. Over the many years that I have been obsessing over music in my life, there have been a few tapes, albums, CDs whatever that I have loved so much that for some period of time, it was pretty much all that I listened to and I eventually damn near wore out the tape/CD. I knew every word. I'm going to do this list chronologically, starting when I was very young and didn't have the awesome taste in music that I now possess, so bear with me. :)
Madonna - Like a Virgin
Top Gun Soundtrack
Guns N' Roses- Appetite for Destruction
Metallica- Ride the Lightning
Janis Joplin's Greatest Hits
Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
Pink Floyd- The Wall
REM- New Adventures in Hi-Fi
The Wallflowers- Rebel, Sweetheart
Maybe next I will do a list of books that I have read so many times I can't bear to read them anymore because I pretty much know every word. And then maybe movies I've seen so many times that I could recite every line along with the movie and annoy you while you watch it with me. It's those things that make life so much fun. Now I feel like watching "Wayne's World: with my sister.

I thought this was a cool idea, so I thought I'd throw in my list here, including my lame tastes from when I was a kid. :-p
Madonna - Like a Prayer
Dirty Dancing soundtrack
Janet Jackson - Rhythm Nation 1814
Def Leppard - Hysteria
Def Leppard - Adrenalize
Slaughter - self-titled (I think)
Guns 'n' Roses - Use Your Illusion I and II
Soundgarden - Superunknown
The Crow soundtrack
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
Green Day - Dookie
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Fear Factory - Demanufacture
The Cure - Disintegration
The Cure - Faith
Gravity Kills - self-titled
Machines of Loving Grace - Concentration
Nirvana - In Utero
Dead Can Dance - Toward the Within
Babble - Ether
Traci Lords - 1000 Fires
Most of these are from the '90s, because I can't think of any newer complete albums I've listened to in that way. I've just been downloading individual songs for most of the current decade.
