The little things that really aren't really little because they bring such joy:
-The smell of my coffee beans as I grind them in the morning
-A special note or message on my phone from Todd
-An email from a friend
-Drew wrote a note last night that said, "I like my mom and dad. My mom is the best and my dad is to."
-When I cried and Grace said, "It's OK, mom."
-Opening an avocado and finding it the perfect ripeness
-Opening a window and feeling a warm breeze
-Singing loudly in the van by myself
-At the kids' concert last night, watching the boys look around the room for me, and the big smile and wave when they spotted me in the audience
-A student thanking me for my help
-When the kids beg me to read them a book
-Remembering wonderful things about my grandpa.
Focus.
And breathe.
Feel the sun, at long last.
