I know I'm a day late with this, but yesterday was the anniversary of the day that John Lennon was shot in 1980. I was only five, so I don't remember it, but what I do remember is listening to his music as a child. Those are some of the greatest memories I have of childhood, being with my dad and listening to Lennon or the Beatles. I still think of that when I hear the music. Lennon was brilliant, and I really admire his activist ways, the way he fought for people to believe there could be peace if we really try. I'm very sad that he is no longer here, and I'm not alone.
