Just a few things I have heard from my children lately that I want to write down so I don't forget and can tell them about it later.
"Mom, it looks like you're growing a mustache!"
"When you chop those vegetables, your butt wiggles."
"He sings even worse than you, mom" (While watching American Idol)
"Mom, you're fat!" (Drew changed it later to "You're not REALLY fat, mom,")
It's a good thing that hear these things more often:
"I love you, mom."
"You're funny!"
"It's MY turn to sit on your lap!"
"Mama" (from Grace)
"You're a good drawer."
And of course, actions speak louder than words. The other day I was standing at the sink and Grace came up behind me and hugged my leg, a big smile on her face. The kids follow me from room to room, never getting too far away from me, which is annoying when I am on the phone . They also follow me to the bathroom. The hugs and kisses are abundant around here, so I guess they don't mind that I can't sing, I have a little facial hair above my lip, and my butt wiggles when I cut vegetables.

I write down our funnies too. We call them Greerisms. Kids say the funniest things...but sometimes they are rather scathing!!! lol
