I don't normally make a New Year's Resolution, but right now I'm thinking about the things I want to accomplish this year and so I will write them down.
1. Lose 25 pounds
2. Start some sort of exercise program that will become a habit that I will enjoy, ie yoga, walking, dancing with the kids, whatever gets me moving
3. Have more patience with the kids, take a deep breath and remember that they are the most precious and beautiful things in my world before I lose my temper and start yelling or spanking, which does no good and only makes me feel like a bad mom (and brings back childhood memories)
4. Do what I can do to take care of the earth, recycle, reuse, reduce waste, reduce the amount of chemicals in my home, etc.
5. Work on getting that children's book published
6. Eat healthier, drink more water, things to nourish my body ( I think that goes along with #1)
7. Do more sewing and get better at it, try more projects
That's not expecting too much, is it? At least it's something to shoot for. I think it will be a good year.
Grace just finished her lunch (or actually threw most of it on the floor), and she gave the sign language for "all done." Too, too cute! She hasn't been eating as much as usual lately. Oh, add that to my list: Learn more sign language and teach Grace (and the boys).
Gotta go eat a healthy delicious lunch.
