I took this picture the other night when my husband and I went out to eat at our favorite restaurant. Every time I walked by this I wanted to take a picture of it. This time I happened to have my camera with me. It was really cold outside and my husband looked at me like I was crazy for standing there taking a picture of the wall. He also thought I was crazy taking pictures inside the restaurant. He needs to be a little more adventurous. There are more things in this world to take pictures of than our children, although they are my favorite subjects. Other things are beautiful and can make you think. Like visual poetry.
Out of the mind of a writing mother of three comes this rambling. Sometimes poetry, sometimes stories about my kids, mostly what I need to get out of my head and into words.

To Escape Criticism
